The Bataleon Goliath isn’t the fastest board edge-to-edge, but Bataleon’s Triple Base Technology makes the Goliath an incredibly stable and catch free platform to launch big kicker tricks from. No need to worry about catching your toes or heels on big icy jumps TBT keeps your edges free from harm and makes off centre landings far more forgiving than your usual cambered all mountain freestyle snowboard. In its element when ridden on kickers where that camber pop pays dividends.

Like the Pole Tax riots of 1990, the Bataleon Riot want’s to smash everything in sight. Huge booters, halfpipe and hips, you name it the Riot will destroy it. A stiff flexing snowboard macho-man designed for aggressive riders who don’t want to faff around in the mini shred, the adrenaline is pumping and they’re on their way to the pro-line jumps.

Snowboard-Review.com has been a big fan of the Bataleon Evil twin for the last couple of years. It makes freestyle snowboarding so much easier and the Triple Base technology makes takeoffs catch free and landings forgiving. For the 2011 season Bataleon have completely redesigned the shape of the Evil Twin, but we’ll be damned if we can feel the difference. A classic snowboard that smashes the park, but don’t expect much difference from previous years,

A suprising little number… well big number actually. Freeride Triple Base Technology sets the Bataleon Undisputed apart from every other cambered Freeride gun on the planet. The Undisputed is stiff enough longitudinally to ride out the most gnarly early morning death cookies. Then there’s the quadraxial glass to keep your edge locked in even when the snow turns sheet ice. Finally, the Freeride TBT makes snowboarding catch free even at frightening speeds and incredibly agile edge-to-edge for such a long and firm flexing snowboard. A snowboard you want in your quiver!

At last the board that people have been asking for has arrived… we’ll kind of. Bataleon have taken their famous Evil Twin shape, slapped a big ‘Rocker’ graphic on the base and kept everything exactly the same. Genius. Next week Snowboard-Review will be selling bricks with ‘GOLD’ written on them, yours for only $30,000.

A toned down version of the ferocious Undisputed. The Bataleon Omni is a freeride snowboard designed for intermediate snowboarders who want to shred powder and groomers and throw the odd trick into the mix or for Advanced riders who like the idea of Triple Base Tech but don’t want to ride with the aggressive style and pure concentration that the Undisputed demands.

Take the Bataleon Guerilla’s shape and fill it with gnarly materials like Quadraxial glass and Carbon and Kevlar reinforcement and you have The Jam, a snowboard designed to be ridden at ridiculous speeds by aggressive all-mountain freestylers. A nice take on fellow Dutchy Piet Mondrian’s famous compositions on the graphic.

Bataleon claim the Distortia is both the Ying and Yang of freestyle snowboarding, that it is both aggressive and forgiving. Those crazy Dutch guys at Bataleon are at it again. Back in 1997 not content with flat bases they introduced the Triple Base Technology, over the last couple of years Bataleon have developed a number of TBT varieties. The Airobic has Bataleon’s Twin TBT which uses the widest flat section at the nose and tail, prfect if you want to avoid slipping out on those single bar nose presses. The Airobic also has Bataleon’s softest flex, perfect for tearing up the mini shred and urban kink sessions.
