DC MLF - 2011

/images/brands/dc/logo/dc_logo.gif

Park snowboards don’t get much more tested than the DC MLF. If you had one of the best snowboard parks in your garden don’t you reckon you’d make a pretty good job of building a snowboard? With a cambered profile, quadraxial glass and carbon stringers the MLF doesn’t exactly sound like the ideal for rails, but the DC riders seem to get along just fine with the MLF. Pretty much designed for slaying the slopestyle course and destroying the competition.

hey, i was considering this as one of my choices for a new snowboard. i was also considering the Nitro t1, arbor element rx, head team i, and this of course.  i love riding backcountry powder in colorado, but ive only gone once and prob wont be back for a few years or so. i know the arbor would be best for the riding i would like to do but for places in like wisconson, illinios, and michagen. the head or nitro would be the best. i guess all im trying to ask is which do u think i should get? DC MLF, Arbor Element RX, Head Team i, Nitro T1

i am an intermediate rider and am looking for a new board. i like big kickers in the park and do rails occasinally. i also like the big mountain/backcountry powder and small cliffs. i dont get out to the backcountry very often but i get out there as much as i can. i am debating between the DC MLF, the Arbor Element RX, the Head Team i, and the Nitro T1. i like all the boards i just cant choose which one!

          please help and thanks,                                      josh

@Josh

I think the Arbor Element RX will be a little too freeride orientated. The MLF is a nice board but you might find that camber and twin shape make it harder work in powder. I’d probably look at the Nitro T1 or Rook and the K2 Believer. Zero camber and a twin shape, these board float in pow and work great in the park. We like the Heat Team i too. Rich

What would the 2012 equivalent to this board be?

Rich Ewbank on November 27, 2011 at 05:30 PM

@Bjorni - that’ll be the 2012 MLF. We just haven’t got around to posting it yet.
