Head snowboards are very good quality…  I personally have a Head Transit i (white) 155cm and i’m very impressed by the intellifibre tech they keep talking about…  the only bad thing i can say is “my skill level has not reached my boards level yet”.  i’m tryng to make up for it with more practice.

i love this board although its not available in the UK!!! had to ship mine in from Germany. Its awesome in the powder but not to great on the piste, i wouldnt want to ride it every day on the piste as its hard to control but its not totally useless and is rideable, get it in powder and its spot on which is why i only take it out on fresh powder days :)

I own this board, a 158 2009/10 AK, and I’m highly satisfied about it. I bought it as a powder boards but I think it’s a great All-Round Freeride board: not a powder-only board, but rewarding on the pistes and easily ridable by any intermediate rider. Has got a mild camber and it’s quite soft longitudinally, but medium-stiff torsionally, it’s very easy and confortable to ride on the piste. I-fibers really seem to work and the board seem to stiffen the board bot torsionally and longitudinally as song as speed increases. It carves beautifully at any speed. Very good edge hold on icy steeps, turns easily even at slow speed and at a narrow radius, but it doesn’t chatter and feels very comfortable even bombing and streight lining. On powder it floats easily provided you let it get a little speed (It doesn’t have a huge taper: only 2-3 mm) and it’s real fun. The base is very fast. I recommend it if you still find it.
