Serious about big mountain riding and saving the environment? Windlip may have created the first credible green snowboard, a cold pressed ride based on their J-Class snowboard, made with high quality but 90% biodegradable materials. The Eco Rocket will kill it over the whole mountain and go some way to saving our planet at the same time, just don’t leave it in a damp shed for too long!
Can you imagine a board that uses less energy than a cup of tea to make? Well we can; our environmentally friendly board is called the “Eco rocket”. It’s cold pressed and hand built, and constructed using fast growing sustainable and ecologically sound materials. It’s 90% renewable and 90% bio-degradable. Even the topsheet is finished with bio-degradable vegetable based oils and the graphics are burnt on thus avoiding the need for inks. So if you want to ride with a low carbon foot print the Eco Rocket is for you.
All Windlip snowboards are handmade in the Savoie region of France and take around 4 weeks to make. For an additional cost Windlip can add further dampening to your board, add a tracking microchip, and give you the option to completely customising the design.
