K2 WWW - 2011

Like a nuclear submarine or a Stealth Bomber, the K2 World Wide Weapon is designed with total urban destruction in mind. Take this soft and forgiving rail slayer to the park or your favourite ledge and wall-ride setup; with Jib Rocker, plain biaxial glass and K2’s JibTip shape (maximum effective edge for minimum board length) you’ll be dropping steezed out style bombs all day long.

Manufacturer's Description:

PARK AND RAIL SPECIALIST

Mad lines and original art define the 2010-11 K2 World Wide Weapon™ (WWW) snowboard. Diecut ptex topsheet lays over freakshow ogres, beastly fiends and modern mayhem. The JIBTIP/JIB ROCKER combo is evidence of the urban madness built into the WWW – allowing riders to shrink a board size without compromising edge control or pressing prowess. Inspired, tested and proven for park anarchy, WWW is stricken with a violent addiction to freestyle progression.

Will this board break

Rich Ewbank on December 03, 2010 at 03:41 PM

Any board will break if you hit a rock, land badly right on the end of the board. Can you post a more detailed question in the forum.

Hows it ride in pow?

matt on December 27, 2010 at 09:29 PM

I live in upper michigan so i mainly ride powder and park. I ride a few boards and the www is my fav by far. This board can make you shine its sick. A great universal deck

Bob de Ruiter on January 16, 2011 at 05:31 PM

Breaking always goes hand in hand with aggresive riding however I broke my WWW about two seasons ago, after hitting a big kicker, landed to much on my tail and could not get in to stable out and after pressing to much on the rail for balance it snapped. Feel what Matt is saying since I enjoyed it the powder it is insane and very forgiving however for the big jumps in the park it felt it was sketchy and not my thing. For riding on pistes and popping stuff their is the best out their. Depends what you like, i guess

I wana buy this board but im not sure if it will do for the mountain too…does anyone have suggestions on a board that is flexiable but also terrain-ish?? and at this pricing range..something close. I go snowboarding a bunch..Please answer..thanks!

Rich Ewbank on June 08, 2011 at 08:48 PM

If you wantto ride a short felxible board that’ll handle actual mountain riding you might be better looking at the Gnu Street Series, Academy Propaganda and Amplid Dopamine.

Does this come with beveled edges? Would it need detuning before hitting rails?

Rich Ewbank on June 27, 2011 at 07:28 PM

I’m not sure, but beveling your edges before hitting rails is always a good plan. You can do it pretty easily with a standard edge file and a bit of masking tape.
