Nitro’s budget rail riding rip-stick the Swindle returns to the Nitro range for 2011. From the Scratch & Rip FH base which changes colour when you gauge it to the Reflex core profile and flat camber the Nitro Swindle should have you pressing everything from concrete ledges to single bar handrails with minimal effort.

Manufacturer's Description:

The Swindle gets the job done, plain and simple. It has a true twin shape, slightly wider waist and snub nose and tail with a radial sidecut. This board is doing what was not possible in the past for construction and price. The Reflex Powercore II makes it ultra durable yet lightweight and soft. It has a long running length so you can size down and stay in control. Its Zero camber and low swing weight makes it is easy to control at all speeds for technical riding. The Swindle also features our exclusive Scratch & Rip base that when scratched or gouged has another layer of base material that is a different color, so it wears through like a skate deck, showing all your scars from session to session.

can it handle som pow and jumps to?

Rich Ewbank on December 30, 2010 at 07:12 PM

For sure, the Swindle is designed for jump and rail riding. The zero camber should help with float. It’s not a powder board but it’ll have more float than a cambered board of a similar length.

what board would you recommend for jumps, rails and boxes, that can still handle the rest of the mountain between this nitro swindle and the capita stairmaster??

Rich Ewbank on April 22, 2011 at 09:58 AM

It depends if you want camber or zero camber. I think the zero camber will make the Swindle a little more planted on rails and a bit more buttery. The camber in the Stairmaster will make it a touch more aggresive to ride and give it more pop. If you’re going in any powder the zero camber profile might be a bonus.
