Capita Stairmaster Extreme - 2011

/images/brands/capita/logo/capita_logo.gif

Capita have taken the standard Stairmaster and ripped its guts out, replacing them with higher grade materials, more damping and a stiffer flex. The Extreme also has one of the most disturbing graphics ever to grace a topsheet.. have you ever fancied a Panda in a Bikini?

Manufacturer's Description:

The Extremes are for a special customer looking for a unique product that not everyone else is going to have. They’re geared toward a progressive jib and park shredder that doesn’t want to break the bank, but is looking for more performance than the standard Stairmaster construction. They feature an epoxy glass configuration, sintered base and cambered construction so they’re fast, strong and have mad pop off park jumps. Combine that with a specially designed damping system placed along the edge between the inserts, and these boards yield enhanced impact resistance as well. The performance in relation to price tag of these versatile freestyle boards is unmatched, and as a result, they’re the first ones to sell out every year.

Capita Stairmaster Extreme

Snowboard Review:

The Capita Stairmaster extreme is one siiiick freestyle/jib stick; loads of fun in the park and buttering all over the piste. This board has good pop and a medium flex which allows you to pretty much hit anything from park to groomers. I found it super easy to ride, press & butter, and it was stable and capable hooning around the mountain. I’ve ridden the 2 previous Stairmaster boards but the 2011 Stairmaster Extreme is definitely much better in every way. For one, it’s got tons more pop and loads of life. I’m also digging the cool & fun panda graphics with super sexy colour ways; I think they will be Extreme-ly popular.

To conclude, the Capita Stairmaster Extreme is a park board which you can also have a lot of fun with all over the mountain. I’m not sure how good it would be in the pow pow but you definitely can’t go wrong with this as your trusty freestyle stick. To be honest I can’t find anything bad to say about it at all and the fact that I didn’t want to stop riding it says enough.

Capita’s 2010/11 line up will likely hit Northern hemisphere stores in between September and October.
