Automaton Manimal - 2011

The softer of the two 2011 Automaton releases, the Manimal is a twin park ride with a wider waist and longer sidecut radius for run-in stability and catch free take-offs. If you’re looking for a medium/soft flexing board to get creative in the park, check out the Automaton Manimal and support Automaton owner and current king of controversy Brenton Woo on his one man crusade to jam a snowboard shaped stick into the spokes of the snowboard industry.

Manufacturer's Description:

Automaton’s first true twin and Automaton owner Brenton Woo’s favourite shred stick! The Manimal has a wider waist than the Babble with normal tips and a shorter and shallower sidecut, which increases stability at high speed. This added stability allows the board to have a softer flex making the Manimal Automaton’s finest freestyle park weapon to date. The Manimal has been built for those riders that spend most of their non-powder time honing their freestyle game, but the extra waist-width and softer flex makes the Manimal pretty good in powder too. Again, as with all Automaton boards it’s a fun ride that is bomb-proof and the graphics are definitely a head-turner.
