Snowboard Review:

The Option Logic is amazing value for money; if you’re looking for a directional all-mountain snowboard but can’t afford a K2 Slayer or Burton Custom then you need look no further.  When cruising around the slopes this board holds an edge really well on long and short radius turns and open and closed turns on slopes of varying snow conditions and steepness. For a cheaper board the Option Logic is very stable at high speeds and both take-offs and landings are very smooth due to a stiffer nose and tail but generous amounts of flex between the bindings. Although the Logic isn’t quite as lively as some high-end boards it’s got a healthy amount of pop and doesn’t mind being jibbed and manualed around the resort.
As this board is fairly directional the front of the nose is noticeably longer than the tail so if you’re looking for a board to alternate between switch and regular you may want to consider a board with a twin shape and centred stance. Nevertheless, wherever you take this board you’ll be pleasantly surprised; it would be perfect for either a beginner or intermediate rider that is short on cash and only manages to hit the slopes once or twice a year. On the down side; the Option Logic’s base is extruded so it may not be as resistant to dings and scratches as a Sintered base which won’t be a problem if you’re just holidaying.
