A lot of Bang for your Buck! The Unity Dominion packs diagonal Carbon cross-bracing underfoot and a high grade sintered base into a stiff board with a tapered shape. Plenty of grip on the hard-pack and tons of float in the deep stuff with a large sidecut radius for high speed long arcing carves.
The Dominion is our classic freeride board. Available in wide and regular widths from 159cm all the way up to 180cm. This is the board to charge any line on the mountain.
The Dominion is directional in shape and flex; a stiffer tail allows the nose to float well in powder and the tail to hold an edge better under pressure.
All Dominion boards feature our proven Carbon Wrapped Core design. We hand wrap Carbon Fibre around the core to create two X designs under each foot which increases the torsional responsiveness of the board.

I bought a 2012 wide 170. I would not bug you guys with a review yet as i have not ridden this pretty board, but one thing i know is true: this board is the stiffest board i have ever owned by far! Much stiffer than my prior mfr, much stiffer than jones experience. Should be interesting!

I have the 2011/12 164 Dominion and rode it briefly this rather dissapointing Australian season. Whatever ... The Dominion is fantastic. It fangs. Holds an edge in the hard stuff. Forgives a lot on the nose and tail. Is really torsional - gives a great “S”-ing ride - and generally a quiver killer. Can’t wait to take it to JH,WY this Feb2012.

I have two days on my 17O now. The rockered nose feels subtle on hard pack, definitely floats in pow. Super skatey in powder, very loose, very fun. Runs over everything easily, very damp and stable. On groomers it holds an edge really well, especially for how wide it is. Given how wide it is, and that I have only a twelve boot, I would not want to spend a day on the groomers with this beast. It is heavy, weighing in at 3/4 pound heavier than my Prior MFR 172, and about the same weight as an archaic K2 Eldorado 173 that I still ride on occasion. Overall though I am really happy with this board. If it has snowed in the last 24 hours, this is the board for me.
