Automaton Babble - 2011

/images/brands/automaton/logo/automaton_logo.gif

The Automaton Babble is the more all mountain versatile sibling of the Manimal. With a narrower waist, tighter sidecut radius, triaxial glass laminates and a directional twin shape the Babble will respond better to aggressive riding, and should work in all types of snow conditions.

Manufacturer's Description:

The Automaton Babble is an all-mountain freestyle killer that won’t break the bank. At home in both the park and pow the Babble has been designed to give the rider extra manoeuvrability in all situations thanks to a short but deep sidecut and a wide stance which is centred along the effective edge. In fairness the only thing stopping this board from being a true twin is a slightly longer nose which has been raised higher and made 1cm longer; this helps the board glide and adds stability which would have been lost by having a deeper sidecut. Although it’s not the most high-tech board on the market all Automaton boards are bomb-proof and the graphics really are a work of art. Plus if you take this board to any Californian resorts you’ll get props for riding a local brand.
