Sims Protocol - 2010

The Protocol has triaxial glass for that extra bit of grip in hard conditions and a true twin shape for precision switch riding. But the Protocol isn’t your average true twin, terrain park get around. Sims have eradicated the camber much like K2’s Flatline technology for that worn in feel and increased float in powder. To make sure none of that lovely pop gets lost the designers installed a full length Poplar core and a tip to tail one inch thick carbon stringer.

If you’re suffering from suicidal freestyle tendencies like Steve Fisher you’ll need a board that can handle big pipes, huge quarters and bone crunching landings. Sims sat down with Steve and what they came up with was a directional twin with tri-axial glass, carbon stringers a reduced core profile to cut down weight and increase pop and rubber damped edges to take those nasty vibrations out of your days riding and increase durability. It’s so good Steve put his name on it…actually that was George Forman and the Mean Lean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine…never mind.
