Team Signal heads to Europe for the Volcanoes Blow Tour

Big news from our friends at Signal Snowboards. Huntington Beach’s favourite snowboard brand is heading to the Eurozone for some springtime shredding and chilling. Apparently it’s all in the name of Trans-European relations; I say any excuse for a road trip!

After an amazing tour with our Italian distributor Freeonboard back in February, Signal is heading back to hang out with friends, shred as much as they can and drink that delicious Euro beer and coffee! Jake Olson-Elm, Dave Lee and Japanese shredder Yusaku Horii will be at Power Days in Italy on April 30th through the 2nd. They then head over to The Snowboard Test in Kaunertal Austria from the 3rd of May through the 6th.

“We’ve have an amazing support group brewing over in Europe for Signal. Some are old friends and some are new, but we have made some serious progress with Signal and we’re excited to hang with our extended Signal family and friends and support the scene.” says Dave Lee.

The Signal crew will be testing the latest shapes and designs to come out of the factory for 2011. They will also be shooting their Volcanoes Blow Tour for webisodes to showcase the awesome scene going on over there in May. Oh and I should probably mention that Snowboard-Review TV will be video interviewing owner Dave Lee to find out a bit more about the brand and next years Signal snowboard range, and to find out if Dave’s still got the riding skills he showcased in ‘Decade’ and ‘Simple Pleasures’ back in the late 90s, so be sure to check out the broadcast on this very site in the Fall.
