Manufacturer's Description:

We took the TailGunner and decided to break it in two, to give our our friends at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC one of the most epic split boards they have ever ridden. The split is an essential tool in every guides’ arsenal, and the TailGunner Split is the lightest, most technical split board you can get your hands on.

Climbing in split mode allows the rider to purposely travel through the mountains with the widest scope of observations assessing terrain and conditions. The lower angled tail height was designed to gives riders the ability to kick turn and transition with ease when in split mode and walking uphill.

When sizing your new TailGunner Split, take your pack weight in mind. The heavier your pack, the bigger your split should be. This will give you the stability you need when in touring mode, and having more board length will make turns even more fluid when riding down. Spiritually guided and approved by the fine folks at Baldface, you’ll be riding Kootenay style on the TailGunner Split.
