The Burton Ripcord is focused on the helping riders master the basics and then push their skills into more difficult terrain. It is a mid wide/wide deck that will allow the riders with larger feet to minimise heel and toe drag allowing them to really commit to their edges to carves in steep terrain. The Ripcord has a directional tapered shape which causes the board to sit back in the powder all by itself minimising back leg fatigue. A V-Rocker profile gives the Burton Ripcord a soft, playful feel on the snow, allowing riders of all skill levels to flex the board into all types of turn shapes and jump and jib around in natural terrain.
Strap in and blast past the learning curve with progression-friendly all-mountain performance.
The NEW Ripcord is designed to accelerate beginners and intermediates into more advanced riding situations. A softer, more playful flex make this an easier going alternative to the Blunt, with a performance-oriented ride that gives you more room to grow than you’ll get with the Clash. The directional shape rides up, over, and through any terrain or condition while the added fun of V-Rocker™ makes the Ripcord ready to put you in the pilot’s seat.
