The Pow Stick, Prior’s original swallowtail, is the king of big mountain directional powder boards.
The behaviour and performance of this board is the result of years of R&D and can be attributed to the nose shape/profile that allows for effortless float.
The swallowtail breaks down resistance and allows for a more natural stance without the dreaded back leg burn.
In a class of its own, it has set the standard by which all big mountain powder boards strive to attain. With limited taper and a long effective edge, the Pow Stick is surprising edge to edge and efficient in variable snow conditions; the tails also flex independently to increase mobility and provide a smooth transition to finish the turn.
