Endeavor New Standard Series - 2013

Endeavor’s latest release the New Standard Series is for the more serious freestylers out there. The New Standard is packed with more tech than Inspector Gadget’s man bag. There’s new exagerated DowTech 2 lifting the contact points a country mile off the snow so you can forget about catching your edges in the snow and then a rail ready tune that bevels the edges clear of any contact with bozes or rails. The flex has been kept moderate but carbon between the bindings adds pop to the zero camber profile while keeping the tips playful for butters and presses. Due to a bit of additional width and a flat kick nose and tail Endeavor advises you size down 3-4cm from your normal freestyle board length.

Manufacturer's Description:

Engineered Fun

The first child of the Archetype R&D Lab, the goal was simple: to create a completely new style of board that is stable yet loose, aggressive yet fun and soft yet poppy. Wider than the average deck, this board is designed to be ridden 3-4cm shorter than the typical board and the brand new DT2 technology will make sure that it will never hook an edge.

Zero Camber w/ DT2 & Flat Kicked Nose and Tail: DT2 takes the success of DowTech to a new level by adding extra rise and by extending the zones for an even more loose and fun riding zero camber board that is still able to maintain superior edge hold. Because of the quick radius to flat on the nose and tail, the effective edge runs further than a traditional snowboard. This means the rider can drop 2cm in length and still have the same control.

Rubber Sidewall Inlays: Designed to take impact from rails or other objects, the rubber sidewall inlay works as a bumper to prevent sidewall cracks and also works to dampen vibrations on hard snow under foot where high-frequency vibrations can cause leg fatigue.

Rail Ready Detune: By creating an edge bevel around the full perimeter of the board, getting hooked on rails and boxes becomes a thing of the past.
