Rome LO-Fi Rocker - 2011

/images/brands/rome/logo/rome_logo.gif

Those female riders who want a super buttery and forgiving park ride with a bit of extra pop need look no further than the LO-Fi Rocker. The Biaxial glass laminates have carbon fibres interwoven for increased response and pop and there’s V shaped Basalt reinforcement in the nose and tail for spin trick pop and a bit of chatter absorption. The Lo-Fi is the rockered park snowboard that can kick it on powder landings too.

Manufacturer's Description:

THE PARK-TO-PEAK ROCKETTE

For riders who like their park board on the super playful side, the Lo-Fi Rocker features a smooth, buttery flex profile that is mellow on landings and press-happy on boxes.  To explore the shred beyond park features, this board also can handle speed and quickness when you want to take your bag full of tricks to the whole mountain.  New PressurePop Technology loads a bunch of power into the reverse camber Poprock Technology.

What colour is powder?

I bought the LO-Fi Rocker as an all round board that would allow me to learn ground tricks and jibs on the groomers, however, I needed a board that would ride really well in powder as most of my riding in deep powder on Hokkaido, Japan.  This board certainly has met all my needs, it has enough flex to be able to do all the ground tricks I am attempting and really good stability and float in powder. With a little of your weight on the back it won’t nose dive and maneuvers around trees really well.  The board is very forgiving in terms of catching edges.  I’m not generally one to hit bumps and launch off them, but this board makes you want to exactly that!  It allows for really stable landings.  Awesome board.
