The K2 Happy Hour is a board that will take you from the park to the powder without breaking a sweat. The Lifted Base technology takes a flat profile board and literally lifts the board shape from just between the contact points. This creates an added pop factor and simulates the feel of a regular camber boards pressure points and allows the flex and play of Flat camber. Tweekend design puts Flat camber from the absolute end to end of the board for more ridable surface area and giving the board the stomp factor you want. A Carbon Ollie-Bar makes the Happy Hour a popping machine for getting a little more style and control on your tricks. A centered stance puts you directly in the center of the nose and tail for an exact feel on the board regular or switch. The Good Wood Award winning Happy Hour will not leave you disappointed throughout the season.
Thereʼs a reason the K2 Happy Hour keeps winning board test awards all over the
industry. Not only does this boardʼs shape standout, but so does its solid pro level
ridability. Complete with all new Lifted Baseline technology and carbon Ollie Bar,
this board pops harder than pop rocks in a mouth full of soda. Try it yourself and see
what the hype is.

Last week my wife bought me a Happy Hour 164 for my 72nd Birthday (which is two weeks from now) and gave it to me early so I could enjoy it the last few weeks of the season here in Ohio. I am an instructor at Mad River Ski area. For the first three runs I wasn’t sure about this board, it was so different from my 8-year old Salomon Sultan 165, but by the fourth run I started falling in love with it and by the end of the weekend I was hooked. I wanted a more flexible board so I could better demonstrate ollies and nollies (the Sultan was too stiff for me to bend enough to get a decent kick), and this is it. It’s faster than the Sultan and more forgiving. It has allowed me to recover from bumps and errors that would have wiped me out on the Sultan. At my age I generally avoid the park, unless I have to teach, and I haven’t been there on this board, but I suspect it would be an excellent park board because of the flexibility. I use Flow bindings for the ease of strapping in and out while teaching. Other, more experienced instructors had the same reaction to this board when they tried one at demo days.
