Nitro Haze - 2011

/images/brands/nitro/logo/nitro_logo.gif

The Nitro Haze returns for another season of budget, park shredding. From the predictable radial sidecut, to the Biaxial laminates and extruded base there’s no denying the Haze’s features are run-of-the-mill, but hey that’s ideal if you want to kick it in the park.

Manufacturer's Description:

The Haze is our no nonsense, low maintenance, get in the game true twin. It has an ultra soft flex with low camber and our Powercore to give it that poppy easy to rip feel. The radial sidecut makes it easy to transition from turns onto the groomers or to hit jumps in the park. It will blow your mind how much board you get for your buck and how fast your riding will step up.

Flexy board…most people find flexy boards ‘chatter’ at full speeds when carving, but i didnt really find that. Couldn’t go super fast but i found carving easy on it. however I’m an experienced rider carving wise. was really responsive on boxes and on landings. Stance is pretty wide, but that is because this is a men’s board. I am a 5’2 130lb girl riding onthe 149, so it is a big long, but i could easily handle it. The only problem was the stance. Had to get ride bindings with slot baseplats so i could move the bindings in even more then possible with normal bindings. Only other con was the tail ends seem to nick easily. Overall, I’ve enjoyed it and would recommend it

Reppin’ the 608!

The Haze is a noodle, locks presses like a dream. I ride the 149 Haze with Union Datas on it. Love the set up, it is just a blast. If you are looking for a low key lightweight board to take some park laps with the haze is for you, not to mention the great price. On the down side don’t expect much pop though, but makes up for it. It is one of those boards that will really press with you, not like those rocker boards, Leans are not cool.

One of those rides that bring a smile to your face, Recommended.
