You’ll be hearing a lot about Contract Snowboards over the next couple of years. Nick-named the Mervin of Europe, Contract are introducing some crazy technology to their line-up. The Guerrilla is loaded with all of their mind-blowing technology and the highest spec materials. Featuring T.R.I.P technology whith raises the start and end of the effective edge slightly to reduce the risk of catching an edge, and Snake Tech; between and under the bindings the board profile is waved, this radical profile increases longitudinal flexibility whilst retaining great edge hold in icy conditions. For riding everything in the park from pipe to jibs the Contract Guerrilla is the future!
The Guerrilla is packed with technology helping you become the most hardcore freestyle shredder in the park. Combining a light-weight honeycomb core with Contract’s very own Snake Transition, using a 3D wave under and between the bindings, you’re left with a very flexible, very lightweight, responsive board, which wants to ride every rail, kicker and box in the park. Combined with T.R.I.P technology, the Guerrilla is easy to control and landings are secure, meaning pulling off that 1080 before ripping the box will never have been easier. True twin tip board.

Has any one ridden a Contract board with the TRIP tech and snake technology. What does it ride like? Sounds mad?

This stick was amazing…rode it in may, spring sessions on Kaunteral…had it out early morning on hard pack and afternoon for slushy fun…
The Snake and TRIP made it almost impossible to catch an edge when maching it on different snow conditions…and if you land something a bit sketchy, it lets you get away with it, correcting you back up with a ragdoll…
Also the Snake helped it run fast on warmer snow…light, snappy and super fun, fully worth a ride!

‘WITHOUT’ a ragdoll!!!! damn typo error!!!!

Sound the business! Did the snake tech feel bumpy on harder snow? Are Contract being distributed in the UK this season?
on July 28, 2009 at 06:17 PM
No…you cant notice the Snake on hard pack flats in that way at all…it just feels smooth and grippy on edge! No-one in the UK has taken it this winter both in distribution or retail outlets…but i know the guys at Contract are working super hard on marketing/PR along with pushing the brand out in Europe…i manage a store in London called LCB Snow/skate/surf (Camden) if you want anymore info on snowboards man…hope that info helped!

Thanks James, shame you can’t get them in the UK, hope Contract make it over here at some point.
