Credited by Transworld as the first board marketed with deep carving sidecuts, Gnu’s original finless, directional, swallow tail design has been brought back to life with modern XC2 contours and construction. Our early ski and surf influenced wide nose, long contact, deep sidecut hardpack shapes were radically different than the surf influenced powder only snowboards of the time. Today this 30 year old Gnu shape that was met with skepticism in the 80’s looks just like a modern snowboard. Snowboarding is unreal, get out there and ride. The future is NOW.
