The Pillow Talk’s bloated dimensions are unusual, but so is the way it rides: Riding a twin-like board with unnatural floatation powers is a trip!
Amplid’s Jekyll and Hyde shaping philosophy is the secret: Inflating the waistline and adding smooth-rising tips generates mind-boggling floatation in deep snow. Just 7mm of board taper is enough to sink the tail and lift the nose out of trouble without setback. Its short running length makes the ultra-wide Pillow Talk jaw-droppingly agile in deep snow.
Energized with a Carbon Pop Band, the Pillow Talk has enough pop and resistance to snap ollies and stick landings. Its new symmetrical Camrock profile, a first on Amplid’s snowboards, places a small camber cavity between the bindings which enhances grip for harder snow and stiffens the flex pattern in all the right places.
Recommended for freeride riding.
