Forum Rat - 2012

/images/brands/forum/logo/forum_logo.gif

The Forum Rat is another urban jib machine much like the Contract, but it is available in more limited quantities and doesn’t have ladies of the night on the topsheet.

Manufacturer's Description:

The Rat is a limited-distribution board only available to exclusive specialty shops. It comes with Pop Camber, allowing you to ollie higher on rails and walls, while Bad Ass materials fend off metal, concrete, and blacktop scarring. Rounding out the package are beveled edges, so you never get caught up and left behind. This is the urban deck that can handle serious back-alley punishment. The fat cats would die without us, but we thrive in their absence.

This was my first snowboard. I have been snowboarding for just one season and bought it because it was $260 or something. It has regular camber and I was using it only in the park. I personally don’t like it because I think it is a little stiffer then they say it is(2/10 flex), because of the bad ass laminant glass and because of the regular camber profile. But it does have pop. Obviously this review is not coming from pro experience, but you can ask me more questions about it if you like…I am an email away: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)/*= 0)out += unescape(l[i].replace(/^\s\s*/, '&#'));while (--j >= 0)if (el[j].getAttribute('data-eeEncEmail_iAtcySvzPV'))el[j].innerHTML = out;/*]]>*/.
