V-Rocker is Burton’s most playful and buttery camber profile. The V-Rocker profile is rockered between the feet and just before the tips but remains flat under the bindings. The Joystick is the snappiest and most responsive V-Rockered board in the Burton range. Everything about the Joystick is about taking a fun and playful reverse camber profile and directional twin shaped snowboard with the looseness of Scoop technology and ramming it full of explosive C4 pop, there’s triaxial fibreglass, Carbon I-Beam reinforcement, Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage and the Squeezbox core profile all sandwiched together to increase the snappy feel and make your ollies enormous!
Redefining real life by giving you video game control, the award-winning Joystick™ is all about making really good riders even better. NEW Squeezebox core science joins forces with Jumper Cables equipped with carbon power rods to make this, hands down, the snappiest V-Rocker™ on offer. Playful when you want it to be, yet serious when approaching high score, this beast rides like an altered reality.

I’m 73, 6’, 200 pounds. I used to ride a Burton Floater, then a Baron. Two years ago I went to the Hero, which is great for me cause it’s impossible to catch an edge. However, you can’t lay out flat to either side cause the board won’t hold and will wash out. I tried a Custom Flying V this year but it was too much for me: I would catch edges and I couldn’t change edges quickly enough. I just bought a Joystick and it’s perfect. Very quick from edge to edge, I can lay out, it holds on ice, and like the Hero it never catches an edge. I’m also able to ride about 20% faster than on the Hero.
