The Blender is another Burton snowboard loaded with more features than a top spec Ferrari. It has a V-Rocker profile to give it a loose playful feel, the tips have been Scooped to exaggerate the loose feel, but there’s triaxial fibreglass, Burton’s elongated contact points called Side Effects and Frostbite edges to make sure that edge hold isn’t compromised. The Blender is twin shaped and has a twin flex to satisfy the needs of park purists.
If we told you we solved the problem of sinking and catching altogether, naturally you’d assume there was, well, a catch. Not so with the Blender and it’s pow-loving, muffin buttering, jib focused design. Hovering at the top with V-Rocker™, Scooped shaping, and Side Effects for enhanced floatation and smoother landings, it still grips like a Ginsu thanks to the AWD edge tech of Frostbite.

i can not snowboard on this board, how ever it is a tremendous Apres board, it looks great under your arm but does not deserve to have bindings strapped to it, the edges are amusing at best, a true beginners board due to the fact that if you ride this board, you will never progress.. because it such a plebb, would not even use it as a shotski.

I demoed this board over the past weekend and fell in love with it, I’m not sure how you couldn’t progress on this board - After just one run I was progressing a ton. The flex of the board made tail presses easy and stable, the v-rocker made riding switch come naturally, there was lots of pop, landing were smooth ‘cause the sides never caught. Overall it was the most fun, playful board I’ve ever been on and had me stoked all day. Not super down with the graphics, but it really didn’t matter after I got it on snow. I rode the 141, but would probably buy the 45 since it was slightly small for me, and I’ve been riding for 14 years.

I have been riding a cambered shaped board since I started snowboarding in 2009, so it has been 3 years. Since then I have advance from beginner to intermediate. Burton Lux was my old board and was just not responding the way I wanted to. I do not ride and parks and have no interest in doing so. I bought this board and rode it. It is the best board I have ever ridden on. It is very responsive and my edges didn’t get caught. Within a day of riding it I felt my skills have progressed a bit, so I do not know what you are talking about regarding not progressing in this board. This is definitely an intermediate to advance board and not for beginners because of the V Rocker shape of it.
I would definitely recommend this board to people who just wants to have fun in the mountain even though you are just going down regular runs. It is very responsive and playful.

About Me: Advanced rider, snowboard instructor, 5’4” Length Ridden: 148 Bindings: Burton Freestyle, Burton Scribe Re:flex Conditions: Powder, Groomed, Park, Moguls
This is an amazing all mountain board, it does everything and makes it feel effortless. It’s light, poppy, catch-free and the designs are always great for the Blender. It floats through powder, keeps hold in icy conditions and gives a secure grip in any groomed terrain allowing for nice deep carving turns. I love doing moguls and this board has proven itself in them; allowing me to make the necessary turns and preventing me from getting stuck. It’s also a great park board as it is built for; poppy off the jumps, stable in the landings.
This is a great all around board and it will be one I will purchase again in the future.
