This year the Blacklight has made the switch from standard camber to Gullwing hybrid camber. Expect the burley all-mountain performance the Blacklight is renowned for combined with the easy carving, poppy flex and ridiculous float of GullwingÖ a deadly combination.
The Blacklight Gullwing is a new concept to an amazing board. We have taken our Gullwing camber and tuned it for even more performance. By lowering the amount of rocker and maintaining the snappy camber under your feet you are able to initiate turns and still remain under control at high speeds with powerful exits on your turns. The Blacklight is made to our-perform any other boards on the market and it’s waist width makes it very versatile for edge to edge quickness, yet not so narrow that it will fit up to a size 12 without batting an eye. The Lava Laminates and ultra light materials results in mind altering response and feet.

Unfortunately I don’t have much material comparing this awesome board with. Anyways I could get it for a good price and reading only well coments on this board I was sold. It turned out to be the best board I’ve ever ridden. It is ultra light and ultrathin making his boar d really versatile and going fast out of turns. The best part I like about the deck is that it’s a real all mountain board. It’s flawless in turns and going in the park is even better it is light it is easy to move in-air. Its even possible to jib on this fabulous piece. I haven’t discovered a flaw yet. The only thing I am not into is that the deck is that thin it gets damage easier than my previous board, but every advantage comes with a disadvantage, not? So if you have the budget I’d definitely prefer this one over, for example, the Burton Custom (X), because it is fast as lightning! Kind regards and keep on shressing the beautiful mountains!!
