Amplid UNW8 - 2014

/images/brands/amplid/logo/amplid_logo.gif

The UnW8 is the hardest charging board on the Amplid line. It comes stacked with a regular camber for maximum pop and control at high speeds or in whatever kind of snow conditions exist. A HEXO2 Core reduces board weight by replacing specific areas of the wood core with feather weight recycled paper honeycomb. A set of Carbon V stringers glue the edges to the snow and create an extremely responsive pop factor. Magma Edge Shock Absorber puts a thin strip of rubber between the edge and sidewall to help eliminate board chatter at top speeds. From the choppy hard pack, to the steepest and deepest lines in the backcountry, the UnW8 is designed to keep you in the drivers seat and charge and stomp everything you send.

Manufacturer's Description:

The UNW8 unites the highest level of on-mountain performance with Hexo2 technology; Amplid’s most advanced snowboard construction.
Reactive and powerful, lightweight and dependable; the UNW8 comes alive when driven through carves, launched from large transitions and pointed down chutes. This is the snowboard that all-terrain experts have been dreaming of, with a spec to satisfy even the most tech savvy. Carbon V-Pop stringers and traditional camber make even the most mundane groomer days a blast.
Control your snowboard like a laser guided missile down whatever the mountain can throw at you.
