Nitro Pyro - 2014

/images/brands/nitro/logo/nitro_logo.gif

The Nitro Pyro is back in action. This beast from the past have respawned and is better than ever. If you love riding in the park and street, this is your deck. Coming at you with a Flat camber, the Pyro gives you a nice, soft flex for pressing and maneuverability, and gives you a solid pop and edge control for those big, and icy jumping days. Asymetrical twin shape, this off-shape board has gained momentum and puts you directly in the center of nose and tail for an equal board flex and pop to dial in your switch tricks. Power Rods help give this board a little more pop into the flat profile.

What colour is powder?

I got this board in the middle of the 2013/2014 season and rode it 5-7 days.  All mountain freestyle is my thing.  This board handled bumps, jumps, powder and trees with ease.  It did very well in varying snow conditions… has a nice balance of liveliness and dampness.  The asymmetric sidecut makes heel side carves tight and clean.  I noticed that my toe side carves didn’t have the same authority, but I chalk this up to rider skill.  The sidecut provides exceptional grip in all kinds of snow conditions except sheet ice (but then what does?).  You can use this deck to shred the park as well as the rest of the mountain including the steeps.
