Hi,
I’m getting back into snowboarding after a 10 year absence. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good, narrow fitting, medium flex boot?
In the past I’ve mostly ridden Burton boots but they never fit perfect. Usually either fit well in the heel but too tight in the toe or good toe room but way too loose in the heel.
Thanks. Tronix.

I picked up a pair of Salomon F20’s last season. Narrow with great heel hold and a supportive medium flex.

For my last 3 pairs of Boots I’ve had Vans BFBs, Vans Andreas Wiggs and now Vans Jamie Lynn. There’s plenty of cushioning in the foot-bed for long days on the hill. The liner is a lot snugger than most, particularly the 32 Team twos I rode before switching to Vans. The fit of Vans is medium width, pronounced arches and a narrow heel… at least I assume it is because that would best describe my feet. I usually buy the boots a bit tight, for the first 3-4 days they are a bit uncomfortable but by day five the liners have packed-out a little and I’ve got the ultimate fit. If you try Vans on first, buy the boots where your toe is only just glancing the end of the boot… the liner won’t need to pack-out much to accomodate your foot but when it does your foot won’t feel loose in the boot.
