a dumb question but i have never setup my own board!

Hi All,
i hope someone is able to help. I have just bought a new board and after doing heaps of research i bought it online but bought everything seperately so have to put it together. all my previous boards have been setup for me. The board i bought is a 2011/12 K2 Raygun, its a great looking board but i can’t figure out which end is the tip. Is there an easyway because from what i have found out it depends on the writting but there is writting at different angles. There is a K2 Raygun metalic sticker at one end and i thought if i set my bindings up so that is the right way up i would be right but not entirely sure…

can anyone help?!?!?!?

If you have last year’s Raygun the large “K2” with Raygun in red script under it (on the the topsheet) is on the nose of the board.

On this year’s Raygun (11/12) the text on the base should be the right way up when the board is stood on its tail.

No such thing as a dumb question.

Thanks heaps for your help Rich. I did suspect that was how you tell but wanted to be sure because i know it would’ve felt abit wrong if i put it the wrong way.
