K2 world wide weopon

Ive really been wanting to buy this board and i have saved up enough for it however i read some reviews saying it cracks and breaks easily. This kind of discouraged me because i would like this board to atleast last me a season and a half. Does anybody know if this was just some untrue statements or if the quality of the board just isnt there? Also it is a job rocker so if i were to be going at high speeds would it be unstable and not good at edgeing with the 3degree beveled edges? I would need a wide board so here is a reference.
