Ok so here is my dilema…

I purchased a ‘10-11 Rossi Onemag a couple months ago for a real good price, read a lot on it and sounds like a great all around board.  I ride mostly back bowls, trees, powder, groomers and stay out of the park for the most part.  It also has magnetraction, which everyone seems to say is pretty legit.

Now I was minding my own business when a deal come up online for a 2011 Ultralight for $435…figured I would order while it was still available and try to make up my mind about it later.  The one I got does not have Ultimate Grip on it, so I am worried how the board will handle when it comes to hard pack/icy days on the mountain.  Also, was hoping maybe to get into hitting some natural jumps and kickers this year and did not know how the board would hold up to that kind of stuff.

Really need some advice on what board to hold on to.  I ride out in Colorado, not nearly as icy as the east coast, but we still do have our days where it is very hard packed and icy.  This is my second year riding, I ride blacks on a consistent basis, so I feel like I am ready to take my riding to the next level in really all aspects and am looking for a board to help me get there.

I am 6’3 175 with a 10.5 boot.  Both boards are 163cm in length and waist width is 253 on the Ultra and 258 on the Rossi.

Thanks everyone,

Steve Medeiros

If you have both boards why not ride them this season and use that to determine which to keep and sell?  Nothing beats first hand experience.

That would be ideal, but I do not have enough money to keep both boards right now.

Leaning towards going with the Nidecker.
