Anyone got any advice on binding angles for a skier turned boarder? It used to be so simple - both feet faced forward in relation to the ski. You knew you had it wrong if it was any otherway?
I figure it’s personal preference, but anyone got any suggested starting points? Bought an old Burton Hammer to get started on at the snowdome here in the UK with some Custom Freestyle bindings.
And, after some test runs, any telltale symptoms that would indicate any particular adjustment? I don’t have a style or discipline so this will just be about getting me to an intermediate level.
Thanks!

Yeah it’s all personal preference..
Most people now ride duck foot. It’s more comfortable and enables you to ride switch a lot easier, you might not intend to ride switch a lot but you’ll want to have the ability.
I’d go for +15 on the front foot and between -7 and -10 on the back. Start there and then find out what feels more comfortable by tinkering with the set-up. Freeriders tend to ride with very little duck on the back foot around -5 and more angle on the front foot >+20.
It won’t take you long to work out what feels right.

Thanks for the lightening quick follow-up Rich.
So, what is meant by “duck foot”? Simply a negative angle on the rear binding?
