I’m lookin at purchasing a 2011 Burton Process V-Rocker & 2011 Burton Custom Bindings. Lookin for a little feedback from some knowledged peeps or a reccomendation. I currently ride a 156 Burton Custom from 2006. LOVE IT. Lookin to get something new. I’ve been riding for about 5 yrs. Would consider myself at intermediate level. Love hitting terrain parks and want something that i could carve with pretty easily. I’m from Chicago so we go to michigan and Wisconsin majority of the time so its IMPORTANT that the board does good in icy conditions and hard snow. I found a board and binding combo on ebay for $489 I’ll post the link below. If anyone has any feedback for me I’d really appriciate it!!!!

I would not get the Process V-Rocker in your situation… I demo’d it last season and it has little edge hold and is very washy at moderate speed.
If you go last year Burton stick with a cambered board, this year they are introducing a new core that is supposed to work well with the rocker shapes so I may change my opinion on Big B’s rockered decks this season.

Thanks steve! Appriciate the feedback. I’ve been doin a lil research over here and actually found similar responses. I found a site out of Colorado that has pretty sick deals on last yrs boards so I wanna jump on something quick before its too late.

See if you can get your hands on a Rossignol One Magtek, it’s got a versatile shape and has magnetraction edges which work well on had pack/ice. It’s got a stiff core and fast base but the profile makes it a lot more forgiving then the 2010 model.
