Hi folks, just wondering if anyone has any bright ideas on repairing salopets.. I have a couple of seams that have come unstitched to a point where there is horizontal section of the pants that formed a natural stop. It’s only the outer layer so the waterproof lining is still intact so I figure they must be repairable but a simple needle and thread is definitely not going to cut it.
They came away at the very beginning of a recent trip and still wore them all week without drama so don’t want to bin them but at the same time probably ideally need them repaired for continued use..
Thoughts?
Adam
P.S - Tignes was amazing, Ride Antic was a belter, Cinch bindings also totally did what they said on the tin.. happy days.

Hi Adam,
Glad the Antic and Cinch bindings did the job out in Tignes… it’s always the way that when you’ve bought a new bit of kit something else falls apart!
Unfortunately, I’m a 27 yr old man and I’d still get my mum to fix pulled apart seams on board pants. If you’re not confident in your relatives sowing abilities, I’d take them to one of those dry cleaners / clothing adjusters.. you know the kind of place where they take up trousers.
Sorry for the useless reply.

No way, Ask Rich is stumped, I thought you’d have some amazing answer…
I’ll stick to the ‘which snowboard’ questions, see you in September when the new gear is out and the season gets closer :-)
