if a snowboard says 8.5 and up (shoes size) and i wear 7.5, can i still buy the snowboard?

hello,

(5.6 ft, 120 lbs, 7.5 shoes size)

i bought a board 145 cm, but i think it is kind of small (after receiving it, i saw that it says that it is for 6.5 shoes size and under). Moreover for an all mountain, it is kind of small. so i want to refund and trade it for a 151, but the 151 says that the shoes size is 8.5 and up. can i still buy it? or should i trade it for a 148 which says 8.5 and under?
