Hey,
I was wondering how the flex between the stepchild Reverse camber salary man and the stepchild jibstick compare? I’m caught between both, the jibstick is a little more expensive, but I’m just looking for a fun board for jibs and crazy butter and was wondering if the reverse camber salary man would do the trick? The only reason I ask is because I have read reviews about the reverse camber salary man and many people say its surprisingly stiff.
Found a good website and dont mind spending the extra 50$ for the jibstick, just wanted a second opinion before I press the launch button.
Thanks,
Btp7rr

Sorry haven’t ridden the Salary Man. I would say that the Jib Stick isn’t as soft as you’d expect infact it’s more middle of the road, like a 5/10.

Maybe a bit late, but I’ve ridden most of StepChild’s 2011 line-up, and as Rich says, the Jibstick is definitely not the soft noodle you thought it would be. The Salary Man RC is a softer board, and one that twists more and is a nice entry level board by them. But the jibstick is seemingly bomb proof and will hit those rails and gaps again and again and again.  And don’t get me wrong, StepChild boards are pretty soft compared to a lot of other companies, so it’s not as if you won’t be pressing all over the place with the jibstick either!

Of course, for something super soft you should have a look at the Signal Park Rocker range as those are just ridiculously flexy and bendy, as is the Endeavor Color RC.
