Any views on the new Rome Reverb Rocker [wide] with UK11 boot?
I’m looking for a playful all mountain board, mostly groomers and side hits and this appears to fit the bill.
Currently I’m riding a Rome Solution from a few years back but the waist width (ww) can be a bit narrow with aggressive carves (especially heel).
I had been looking at some of the Capita’s but WW isn’t favourable.
Suggestions/opinions gladly received.

I don’t know much about the Rome Reverb Rocker but generally, Rome makes pretty durable solid rides, so if it is fully rockered, it will definitely good to jib around. But keep in mind, the softer the board, the more slushy it gets when riding fast. If you want to carve hard and fast but still want to jib around, you might want to have a look at a Camber/Rocker hybrid. That is if you are not riding pow too often because then, fully rockered boards definitely are in their element!

Yeah it uses Mtn Pop Rocker which is camber at the tips and rocker at the wist so it is a hybrid… which you wouldn’t know unless you had the catalogue infront of you. Essentially it’s the same board as the Agent Rocker. It has the same profile and pretty similar waist widths. The difference is that the Agent uses a slightly different glass orientation and Matrix resin for a bit more longitudinal liveliness aka more pop, it also has a slightly tighter sidecut. So the Reverb Rocker is much like the Agent it’s just a little bit less aggresive and lively which would make it an ideal board for an intermediate who wants a medium stiffness do everything freestyle snowboard. Sounds about right for you. Afraid we didn’t get to ride it this year but that’s what I’m understanding from the catalogue. Rich
