I just started my second season boarding (around 14 days on the mountain) I rode a flow infinite 168 last season as I weigh around 220lbs, this season i wanted something smaller that wouldnt flex too much so I grabbed a few boards from the US as they were pretty cheap.
Gnu Carbon credit 162W
K2 Raygun 164w
Ride Highlife 163w
I was riding last weekend on the Ride board and I just found unless i was going fast (near my abililty limit) it was not very responsive, the visibility on the day was next to zero so better conditions may have helped me keep it at speed.
I am thinking of shelving the highlife until the weather/my ability increases. Out of the two boards I have left is going to be more responsive, I am leaning towards the raygun as it looks better and I will have more chance of selling a GNU board in Aus but I would ultimately like some help.
