Firstly, just want to say sorry for yet another ‘which snowboard do i get’ post…..

After 2 straight weeks of reading up on snowboards I still have no idea what to get… Too many boards/ brands/ contradicting reviews. I just want to take the easy way out now :)

Intermediate boarder - starting to shred the black runs but want to have the freedom of playing on everything at the terrain park.

Mainly ride on groomed runs

Height - 5’11’
Weight - 158lb
Shoe - 10.5 US

A suggestion on bindings would also be greatly appreciated.

Boots/bindings price limit: $450 US

Thankyou!!!!!

so i have a better question now..

Found a near new Never Summer SL (2010-11) for $240.
I think its a pretty awesome price and the reviews all point towards it.

The only problem is.. it’s a size 161cm.
It’s a bit on the large size for my height and weight but would it make any noticeable difference?

HI Matt,

Sorry for the late reply, I would have got back to you earlier but I was in Italy moutain biking and chilling. I’ve ridden the SL and I loved it, as far as the board length goes 161 will be fine if you intend to do mainly freeriding on it, if you want to freestyle as well you might be better off on the 158. For charging groomers and powder the 161 SL will be great.

Rich
