Hi ,
I am a female beginner snowboarder. I need an advice to buy a snowboard. Please help me out!!!
I am 5’3’’ (161cm), 130 lbs (60 kgs). I think I am a freeride type of snowboarder. I have narrowed down to 4 choices here, but I dont know which one is best suitable for me.
Burton Lux
Burton Blender
Burton Deja vu Camber
Burton Deja vu V-rocker

Is 150cm too long for my height and weight?

I would stay away from V-Rocker or EZ-V, more a freestyle profile then freeride…  stick with a cambered deck with medium flex.  Burton has a good board finder tool on their site, try it out and see what they recommend.

Hey there, have you limited yourself to Burton or are you open for suggestions from other brands as well?
If so, I would advise you to have a look at the range of Roxy and Rossignol, they are selling some great boards for female riders!

Cheers, Tobi

I was about your size when I started, maybe a bit taller.. but i went with a 155. BAD IDEA. my ski shop guy set me up with it, and it was too big for me, I had trouble turning.  It all depends if your going to keep growing, if your not, pick a board thats good for you, and youll be set for awhile. If your going to grow some more, get a one size bigger board, or maybe just rent one.
