Firstly, great site and unreal feedback on threads, I have been reading for a month now. Been riding a 2005 Burton Canyon 168 for the past 6 seasons. I’m ready for a new board and I am thinking 2012 Jones Flagship. My stats are as follows:

Height: 6’2’‘
Weight: 185
Foot: 10.5-11 (wearing 10.5 Burton Ruler’s from a few years ago, too tight)
Skill: Advanced // not expert
Days: 10-15 a yr
Where: East Coast (VT, Placid) 2-3x a year & Tahoe 1x a year
Likes: Powda if I can get my hands on it // railing the hard stuff if not // never go to the park

So my question is which Flagship will work best:

164 (25.4ww)
163W (26.3ww)
168W (26.3ww)

1st do I need to ride a the W? Anyone out there with an 11 riding a regular Jones Flag?
2nd my current board is a boat, very heavy and wide. I am comfortable with a 168 but was thinking that maybe the 163-4 might be a little bit more manueverable??? Guess I am splitting hairs here but wondering what thoughts are, especially on the foot front. I am likely in the mkt for new boots too if that helps with the width question.

i would suggest the 163W - i am about your weight, a bit shorter, with size 10’s and i have the 161. Originally i thought i should go for the 164, but after spending the last 6 days riding some gnarly steep lines in revelstoke and kicking horse, the 161 is def enough board for me… it has a really fast base and profile, and the amptek profile makes it great for maneuverability and float in deep pow.
