Hey there everyone,
I have been here for some time but mostly looking but now I need more info.
I have been snowboarding for about 5 years but havent really been a huge fan of parks mostly because neither I or my friends really were into it so it was mostly riding down hills and jumping a little bit everywhere. But now, most of them stopped or dont have that much time so I’m gonna start going more slow but with more fun.
My current boards are:
- Rossi Contrast Series, 161 MW with Burton Contour bindings (old setup witch is going away pretty soon)
- Burton Malolo, 166 with Burton Cartel bindings
I aint a small guy (6’3, about 190 with 13 us boots), riding 15/-15 and I’m looking for a freestyle board for a bit of all mountain (mostly groomed and icy conditions) because the Malolo is fun but it’s god damn heavy and I want something more enjoyable for slower speeds.
I have tested some boards this week:
Forum: -The Scallywag 155 (really loved it)
-The Destroyer 156 (was fun)
Burton: -Easy Living 155 (was great to but way too many noobs in the way ahaha)
Suprisingly, my feets would work fine with all thoses boards, havent tried to carve like a maniac tough
The thing is I never really looked into theses sort of boards and they are soo different compared to the Malolo for example and the more you look, the more you find boards (Skate Banana, Pickle, ...)
Soo all that to say, witch board would be good for me, considering I have a normal budget +/- 450$ for the board
