I am 158 lbs. 5’10” female - pretty athletic. Did a demo rental in Tahoe and renting in east coast icy conditions totally different. Looking at Never Summer boards but wanted to know which board would be best as I reside on east coast.
After riding Tahoe my first day instructor told me I was level 2-3. After riding “ICE COAST” I don’t feel as confident. Please advise because I do not want to rent poopoo boards in these east coast icy conditions anymore!

Yo D-Fly,
definitely check out the Rossi Diva MagTek! It’s an intermediate-advanced level snowboard for female riders who want to push their skills to the next level! It comes with the infamous AmpTek Rocker and the MagneTraction which will definitely help for better grip in icy conditions.

Other than that, did you try our Board Selecta!, yet?

Let me know what you think, Cheers Tobi

What kind of terrain are you riding? Do you want to learn freestyle?

I’m afraid I don’t really know what that scale of ability means. Are you carving confidently down most runs, hitting table top jumps, riding the pipe? What elements of snowboarding have you got dialed?

Rich: I can’t do all that yet but I am working on it. Carving is impossible for me on bogus rental equipment and east coast ice patches. I was doing well on west coast powder and I wasn’t doing any tricks but freestyle is the direction I would like to head. I’m thinking I need something twin also because i like to ride switch.
