New Park Board

I am buying a new park board for the next season, and i am most likely going with the K2 WWW. i like to jib and butter, so want good flex and pop. My first question, is this a good board for me. Second, is a sizing issue. I’m a big guy. 6’3, 220, with a current boot size of 13. I wanna buy the 156W because I prefer riding smaller boards. My concern is that it would break if I bought such a small board. should I go with the 159W size instead? Thanks.

Hi there,
I assume you informed yourself so far that you do know that the K2 WWW is quite a noodle! With your stats you can probably flex that deck 90 degrees just by using one leg’s muscels..
I’d have a look at the Nitro T1 158W. Something like that should fit your bill a bit better, I think.

Thanks a lot for the reply! I like the way the TI 158W is sounding, but don’t really like the graphic. It seems like a kinda stupid reason for not buying a snowboard, but if I plan on riding it for a few years, i should like the way it looks. Are there any other boards similar to it you might be able to suggest?

Hi Footballcc09,

Got your PM, but thought I’d contribute to your original post. Do you have a budget in mind? I’m asking because I think you would love the K2 Fastplant 159W. This board is so fun and poppy, but also seems to deal with slighly heavier riders really well. Let me know what you think, if it’s a little to expensive, let me know and I’ll make other suggestion.

That was actually the first board I looked at, but now I am checking out the skate banana. They both look sick. do you think either one would be better than the other? I’ve heard great things about both.
