So many hot boards on the market for 2010! Amplid Hi-Def, Burton Easy Livin, Omatic Celebrity, Bataleon Evil twin and K2 Zero to name a few…. Anyone planning to invest this season.. which boards are ticking all the boxes this season?

Hola,

Rode the Burton Custom V Rocker at the US Open. Gonna be picking up the 156 as soon as I can.

Try if you can find it.

Tried to add a review to the site, but you seem to have every brand but the Burton.

Hi KingJay,

Yeah Tom rode the Custom and he loved it, but he didn’t get to ride the V-Rocker. Some reports I heard were that it’s a little sketchy on harder snow and that because it essentially pivots on a Fulcrum it’s tail feel really loose..

As far as Burton goes, we tested about 5 of their boards including the Custom, Vapour, T6, Easy Livin and another one which I’ve forgotten the name of. Burton get a bit funny about putting pics and info about their boards up on the net before the website goes live. So we’ve got all the reviews and Burton Boards uploaded to the site and as soon as the Burton site goes live and we’re given the green light the boards will be on this here site. They’re known for flexing their libel muscle so we really don’t want to mess with the big B!

Ya, you can’t really go wrong with a Custom, though I’m probably preaching to the choir. The V Rocker is a mid wide to boot, which is good for my boots as I am not shy in the foot dept.

Got the Burton boards up on the site if you’re interested. Custom always seemed really narrow to me, especially because the sidecut is pretty aggressive. Some of the Nitro decks are looking good for mid-wide footers next season, like the Andreas Wiig and the Blacklight!

Yeah, I have fairly big feet, but never really found issues with any of the Custom I have rode over the years.

Burton reviews are looking nice. Good work.
