I’m looking to get a board for intermediate slopes and jibbing in the park, without breaking the bank. The K2 Parkstar looks like it could be a good fit. Anyone out there have any experience with the Parkstar? thanks

I have the 2010 Parkstar 155 and it’s a fantastic deck…  not as soft as the K2 WWW but very pressable thanks to the Jib Rocker and hybritaper tips.  Decent pop, the flat kick rocker helps it handle a lot more variety of conditions then a true reverse camber like the v-rocker.  Base is very durable too, all in all a great park deck that you can take around mountain for some fun.

Thank you, I think I am going to go for it, I have been watching loads of reviews on youtube and doing a bunch of research on it but I wanted the opinion of someone who had legitimate experience with it.

Any advice for good bindings at a good price? I keep seeing Burton custom bindings for beginner/intermediate riding but I was warned by a friend that they are a bit heavy.

If you want a soft park binding for your deck, check out the Union Flite and Contact bindings. Good choice on the board by the way Snowboard-Review like the Parkstar!
