Good vibes hinge disc

Hey,

I was looking at buying the bindings and i came across forums SHAKA bindings. and i was curious about there new new disk system with the swing hinge. Are they all that great and that revolutionary that they need to be bought.

Hi Ryan,
I heard some good things about the SHAKA, basically it’s a similar system to the UNION Contact’s. They both allow a truer flex of the board so you’ll especially love those bindings when riding the park!

Yeah I’m afraid I haven’t ridden either. I’ve ridden quite a lot rocker boards with standard baseplate bindings and never had a problem with board flex, although I haven’t tried any of these bindings so I don’t really know what I’m missing. They look pretty cool.
