I just ordered one, but wanted to see what you guys thought of it before running it. I’ve been riding a Jones Flagship, great board, but I found myself riding on the side of jumps when I was riding with my friends as the Flagship and we all know this is not really meant for jumps. I also have a Bataleon great board for every thing the Flagship isn’t. I also rode an Capita MHT years ago, loved it, but the base was extremely slow. So I called some shops and chatted online with some stores and think that the Dark Series will have me covered for a do it all board. I wanted to see if you guys agree with that, I really wanted the best of all the boards I mentioned above in one board, something good for bombing, hiting natural features, doing a lap through the jumps and the pipe, and then doing some tree runs, basically a freeride board that’s also pretty good for jumps and pipe;) So is the Dark Series what I’m hoping it to be?

I have never been on a C2 but it seems similar to the Flying-V of Burton and I wasn’t a huge fan of it.  However I have no idea of the geometries with the C2 so that comment means nothing really.

On paper that would looks like a all-mountain freestyle deck so it should have you covered…  at least I hope so considering you already bought it. :)

As you already bought it, you should just wait and try it out yourself because nothing we say can replace your own feeling on the board.
Still, it’s definitely a stiff and therefore aggressive all-mountain ride with C2 BTX just as the Jamie Lynn, Travis Rice,..
Only difference is that it’s a “power” BTX so I guess it will have more pop because of being stiffer than the regular BTX.

Have fun riding it!
